Evolution Industries Stage-1 Clutch Kits set the standard for clutch performance. A Six Coil-Spring Design is easier to tune for higher horsepower engines than the Original Equipment Diaphragm Style. They feature Kevlar friction plates and hardened steel drive plates. Our Kevlar friction plates have a higher coefficient of friction than sintered plates (O.E.). This helps transfer huge amounts of torque to the pavement. Steel drive plates last even under brutal drag racing conditions. So you can enjoy a very long service life from them. Our Billet steel drive hubs ensure they will not crack or break even with today’s high horsepower motors. Coil-Spring clutches are better suited for medium to high-output performance engines. They need high spring pressures to connect torque to the ground. Kits come assembled with standard blue springs. Optional coil springs are available to suit many spring pressure needs. ** NOTE – One piece clutch cable or auto adjust delete is recommended for all M8 models. ** **After-market clutch levers may cause issues with adjustment on hydraulic & cable clutches due to the lever changing the pull ratio. **
